Configuring POP3 Email Clients

Hosted Domain Name: (eg. mydomain.com)
Do *NOT* include the "www." subdomain prefix.
Desired Account: (eg. "info", "sales", "johndoe" etc.)
This is the name of the user whose email you want to receive and store on your server.
Password: (eg. "mysecret", "randomletters" etc.)
This is the password you wish to assign to the email account.
   











Incoming (POP3) Configuration

POP3 Server: mail.

Email Address: @

User Name: @ (not just )

Password:


Outgoing (SMTP) Configuration

SMTP Server: Your ISP's SMTP server (not mail.)

SMTP Authentication: As required by your ISP

Usually SMTP authentication can be left disabled or blank within your email client.

If you do need to authenticate for your ISP, be sure to use your ISP's authentication details, not your / user name and password.
